Global Artifacts Voluntary Organization (GAVO) was founded in 2005. William Ofori-Atta the President and a supported by Mr. Appiah, Vice-President; Mr. Dani Kwame Agoe, Operations Manager and Miss Diana Nartey, Secretary. The vision is to provide jobs applications to street kids; train them on how to use their hands to make crafts and art pieces for the betterment of their lives. In addition, the organization trains to introduce young people to traditional dances and how to play the indigenous musical instruments (cultural group), whilst manufacturing shelter for stray animals e.g. dogs and cats as means to raise funds by the sales of art and crafts produce to foreign countries.
Mr. William Ofori Atta is an Artist by profession and a lecturer of Arts and Crafts at various institutions all over the country. He is married with three children and a Christian.
Mr. Appiah Kubi is a diplomat by profession and works with the Foreign Ministry in Ghana. He is well travelled and contributes immensely to the organization. He is married with children and a Christian.
Miss Diana Nartey is a teacher by profession and is affiliated to the Ghana Education Service. She is married with three children and a Christian.
